Why do people defend Dawson? He's a Grade A ***** for quitting. Imagine if Chavez would've quit against Martinez? We would never hear the end of it,but instead he kept on fighting and managed to hurt Martinez. Not to mention he took 3x the beating.

hopkins possibly faked (or milked) the injury. Dawson believed this and was taking a lot of heat in the ring for spoiling the main event, so i can see why he would be talking smack.

At any rate, dawson quit when it was obvious he couldn't win. No shame in that imo.

I agree with ****m that Dawson is not a throwback fighter, there is plenty of reasons why Dawson not a throwback fighter, but quitting against Ward is not one of them. Chad was done by the 10th round, his legs were gone, and Ward probably would have stopped him.

There's nothing wrong with quitting when his health was so obviously at risk for no reason (anyone honest with themselves knows that he had no chance save Ward spontaneously combusting), despite what the bloodthirsty ****tards will insist, but that doesn't mesh well with being an old school fighter at all.

Also guys were saying Ortiz quit and had no heart, so what makes Bhop so different? Ortiz's jaw was completely shattered!!

I didn't say that about ortiz but the difference is hopkins didn't get hurt from a legal part of the fight. seems pretty easy to understand the difference.
