Nobody is rushing to fight Lucas at the moment unless they are obligated to.

True, but he's earned his title shot. He'll be getting one sometime next year. GBP can't avoid it forever. If Garcia beats Judah, he'll either defend his belt against Matthysse or vacate.

And I do agree with you, if anything IMO Lucas is undefeated and has been a victim of bad decisions that has cost him.

If anything those loses have give us two good fights of guys that nobody wanted to face and Lucas took them on and KOed them.

I can't wait for another Matthysse fight

It's a very good fight stylistically, the entertainment value is there. But, it doesn't mean much in the grand scheme.

I think the reason why Judah-Peterson was never made was because of the money. I recall the purse bid being something ridiculously small, can't remember where I heard the figure though.

Decent fight here, two of Tim Bradley's high profile victories facing off against eachother. I think Lamont should be able to win with a UD here, Holt seems to have lost a step since his defeats.

                      First Garcia-Judah, now Peterson-Holt.

peterson's going to be a different quantity without drugs. against bradley he wasn't looking anywhere near as strong as he looked against khan. we'll see what he's got when he's legit. if he's the same guy who beat amir khan then he'll beat holt. holt is not a world beater, certainly not at this stage, but he is a very big puncher.
Holt is one of my favorite fighters. Although I took him off my fave fighters list out of anger[along with Floyd for the same feeling]; he is one my very favorite fighters. Like he's up there in the top 5. He obviously didn't turn out to be that good, but he's still good. I hate that he lost to Mabuza. Mabuza is dangerous and all, but Holt had no business losing to him. Peterson beats Holt but I hope to be wrong. Holt just gets lazy in there and starts looking for one punch, that's what angers me about him. I want to see the Kendoll Holt that knocked the F out of an undefeated David Diaz, dominated an undefeated Issac Hiatshwayo dropping him several times, and the one who knocked out Ricardo Torres and widely beat Mike Arnaoutis. This lazy Kendoll Holt first appeared in his win over Demetrious Hopkins, then further showed it against Timothy Bradley.
