    Shannon Briggs Back In Action!!

    Heavyweight Shannon Briggs (45-4-1, 39 KO’s) goes for his tenth straight win and tenth straight knockout when he fights for the USBA heavyweight title on January 27 at Miccosukee Resort & Gaming in Miami. Briggs opponent will be named. The Telemundo-televised main event will feature Jair Jimenez (22-3-1, 18 KO's) faces Cecilio "Boga" Santos (18-5-2, 11 KO's) for the WBO Latin jr. bantamweight title. Also featured is welterweight Gilberto "Sugar" Reyes (18-2-1, 11 KO’s) vs TBA. The card is being promoted by All Star Boxing, Inc., "The New Generation" & Felix "Tuto" Zabala Jr. Tickets are now on sale at Miccosukee Resort & Gaming (305-925-2555) and Ticketmaster

            Briggs has no shot in hell at recapturing ANY glory that He used to have. He wasn't a great fighter anyways, and he certainly isn't even good enough to compete in THIS division.

              He needs to lose some bulk and he might have a chance. A lot of his losses were due to stamina. He is exciting to watch though.
