Hopkins keeps it real! I just don't like how he acts like only black people deal with hard times. I'm from Winnipeg Canada and I'm German-Ukrainian background. I was in and out of gangs as a kid. I did'nt grow up in the suburbs. My mom was a crackhead and I started on the pipe myself at 14. But I guess because I'm white life is supposedly not a struggle. We've never had money ever. We've never owned a house or anything for that matter. I'm not a rare kind where I come from either. Everyone I grew up with has a similar story. We have projects all over our city but because they don't make movies about our ******'s we're supposed to believe they're not bad at all? Americans need to realise that they are'nt the only ones with poor neighborhoods!

Winnipeg is the homicide capital of Canada but that's per cqapita. It always averages 30-40 homicides a year with a population of 650 000. Guns and the HA's have started coming in alot in the past couple of years so now the murder rate is up. Still alot of drugs in a small city. Lots of home invasions and robberies.
