That alone doesn't give me the confidence that he can without a doubt beat Garcia.
So I gave you the Khan fight and said Mathysse doesn't have a better win on his record. But again, not every potential fight can be predicted by using "Who has such and such beat". Triangle theories don't work. Mathysse not stopping a southpaw in Judah/Alexander 2 years ago have absolutely nothing to do with how he would do against Garcia.

If they had similar styles, I could understand, but they're not even remotely close. In fact, they're damn near opposites. Look at how much movement Judah and Alexander used against Mathysse. I have yet to see Garcia use that movement. Garcia's simply not a boxer. He doesn't have the speed to outbox and use the ring like most think he can. He's a flat footed ****er/counterpuncher. Mathysse would eat that ass up like a Chantrell's plate.

Fact still remains, you're ducking my question. Who's more of a left hook killer? The Russian guy who made Khan do the stanky leg with headgear, Prescott or Garcia?

Would have to be Garcia because he got the later and better version of amir Khan. Doesn't that make sense? Can't be the Russian because he got an amateur, Prescott beat the wet behind the ears Khan and Garcia got him after some matches against good opponents at 140. You have your opinion and I have mine but Matthysse will always fall short on the big stage. That's my opinion.

Peterson had Khan running and clinching one fight before the Garcia fight. Testosterone and all.

But it's your opinion. Honestly, I don't even want to see this fight yet. Rios-Mathysse is the one that needs to happen next.

        • How can people be so certain Mathysse beats Garcia, Mathysse hasn't faced an opponent with that kind of timing, accuracy, power and countering punching, Lucas would get hit more than he's ever been hit.

No, unfair for Rios to face to face another tough opponent that quickly. Anyway that's irrelevant as I don't see Top Rank and GBP coming together to make it.

Mathysse's chin will be just fine. I just showed you 2 other guys that did the same thing to Khan. KO'ing old ass Morales is nothing special either. I think Mathysse chin will be just fine.

Secondly, Rios is a big boy; he'll be just fine. DLH is willing to make the fight we'll see what happens. Oh yeah and due to Rios style, he'll never have an easy fight. He just likes to get hit, it's just the way it is.

So did Antonio Margarito. Caught up to him too.

I agree with you on the Peterson fight. Khan is and still would be a solid win at 140 for any fighter there.

How can I compare Corrales and Marquez? The only way I can, is by pointing out that Floyd beat them BOTH effortlessly. Something Manny hasn't done (Pertaining to Marquez)....... CHECK MATE!
And was beated by Castillo. Period. Pointing out Floyd beated him in the rematch, make no sense. And btw...Did Floyd beated Corrales and Marquez at their natural weigh classes? Ouch.... CHECK MATE!

Pacquiao beats Cotto.... Miguel was Margarito's leftovers and weigh drained! ...Then, Mayweather beats Cotto, so by yourr logic Cotto was Pacquiao and Margarito's leftovers..right? NOO...he was the best Cotto ever.

Mayweather beated Hatton @147 (Ricky's natural weigh class was 140) AMAZING...Pacquiao destroys Hattonat his natural weighclass...and guess what? Hatton was Mayweather's leftovers.

Like i said before, i'm not expecting you to give some credit to Pacquiao. You will not. But of course, Garcia is the "lethal weapon" .. hahaha!

I asked the same question. Even when Matthysse dropped and hurt his opponents he still couldn't deliver. This happened twice. Not sold on Matthysse as one of the best at 140 considering he hasn't beat anyone at 140 that is considered the best. People talk about Garcia fighting Morales but Matthysse was about to fight him too. Matthysse hasn't done anything yet that makes me believe he beats Garcia and I do believe that left hook would be a problem for him.
