Only pacquiao was able to stop morales and i would dare say that this was more emphatic than erik's losses to pacquiao. Being close to my 30th birthday, i saw morales as one of the last warriors still standing, one of those that made this great sport even better for me years ago. All i can say is congratulations to garcía because he has a future, but thanks to morales. You really left your mark in the sport and i will always admire you. I wish you good luck in your life.

Respect to this. I am about to turn 26 and Barrera-Morales is what turned me from a casual into a true fan. I turned the stream off after Morales' ring walk and didn't watch the first Garcia fight either; I refuse to watch Erik lose to a mediocre fighter like Garcia.

When I think of Morales' comeback, I'll think of his epic last stand against Maidana.

That first pic you posted is one that I used to put when I used Windows Messenger years ago. Erik defied the odds and accomplished a lot. I only disagree with you about García being mediocre because I think the kid has talent and it is being proven. Still, props to Morales.

Morales is a huge inspiration to me. It sucks to watch him lose like this. I figured he was really making a comeback. Then I watch him in this fight and he sort of looked lost. He was looking for something and couldn't find it. It needs to stop. I wished for a Morales/Marquez war, guess we won't ever see it. Morales proved a lot in his prime and he displayed his greatness very well throughout the earlier part of his career.
