why is everyone getting on quillin's case? he was just trying to break randall bailey's fewest punchest thrown in a fight record and by golly he almost did it but randall is still the "king"

I also know that DiBella avoided Quillin because he knew the RISK was not worth the REWARD. He told Quillin to go to Russia & fight Pirog and he would give him the shot if he won. Well, now he has Pirog's belt. Let's see what excuses he makes.
And I know Vanes is a GREAT fighter but not too sure about him tapping Quillin's ass. I do know that his last fight was against Lowry recently and he TKO'd him in the 3rd round. That's the same TROY LOWRY that Petey TKO'd in the 2nd round back in '07, 14 fights ago. LOL
And finally, I also know that The Kid Chocolate made light work of GGG in a sparring session. I also sat 2nd row at GGG's last fight and was impressed with his power and speed for HIS SIZE. But of course he hasn't fought any real MIDDLEWEIGHTS. Just check his record. Anything else you'd like to know?

Obviously Martinez is the real middleweight champ. We all know that.

so did N'Dam when he beat Bursak
the fact that the interim title was turned into the full title is irrelevant here
you say N'Dam never got to the championship level, yet I don't see what Pirog did for you to consider that he did, he did defend the title, but against weak competition
I see double standards here

That was a really good fight. Good performance from both fighters, Quillin was smarter and N'Dam was busier and showed a lot of heart, kept coming forward despite getting dropped. He didn't come to NYC to give up his title. Quillin was very effective when he let his hands go but I think he had too much respect for N'Dam's power and let himself get outworked for most of the rounds, still the quality came from him. N'Dam was brave but he kept getting caught with the same shots over and over again, athletic and aggressive but not very smart. I did warn some people here that he had a weak chin, I forgot what thread it was. He gave it his all though, he can hold his head up high.
Quillin vs Golovkin, let's make it happen!

He seemed distracted (probably momentarily starstruck?) going into that round while Tyson was still speaking and got caught with that shot which then would have weakened him for the rest of the fight. I wonder what would have happened if Tyson wasn't there?

Pirog wasn't much of a champion, but N'Dam was even less so.
