  • If Morales beats Garcia

How much credit will he get? Is his legacy tainted no matter the outcome? Or will he fly high like a hero among all his supporters?

  • #2
How would it be tainted? He's already wiped his slate clean with a negative B sample. Otherwise the fight would have been cancelled.

Tainted legacies would be for guys like Mosley and Vargas.

He legacy is not tainted in the bit in reality. But those who will want to discredit him will always point to this time in history when poeple over reacted to a false positive.

      But Morales legacy is good.

When he beats garcia He gets credits but not much cause aint like if he beat a floyd mayweather or a pacquaio of today.

He gets credit for showing how great he is, that even is his so past prime state he can still compete and win against today's so called best in this division. When back in the day prime for prime Garcia wouldent last more then 3 rounds.

I'll give him all the credit in the world.....for being old and war torn it would be remarkable for him to beat a young confident fighter

Great credit, and if he loses it doesnt matter, we all know Morales would have tooled Garcia with ease back in his prime

Morales back in his prime was a featherweight-jr. lightweight. But If you mean p4p then yes.

he could have rocked up on the featherweight limit and still easily beat Garcia

What does it say about Garcia that a slow, way past prime fighter, and weight drained was schooling him before he got tired? Morales would've whopped his ass if he did not get tired.
