Terrible confirmed to be clean fight with Garcia
The USADA Erik Morales informed that the results of the third test are negative so you can fight without setbacks, Sulaiman said the banned substance clenbuterol is not for the CMB

    RENÉ Umanzor

Erik "Terrible" Morales told RECORD that the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) confirmed that it is clean, so the world championships fight WBC welterweight and WBA having Danny Garcia will take place smoothly.

"The USADA and informed me that opened the third round and went clean, they believe it is an issue of food, nothing happens and no one is going to take legal action against me and the fight goes as planned," said Mexican boxer .

The four-time world champion acknowledged that the first test showed traces of clenbuterol, however, according to the reports of the anti-doping agency, the levels found do not prove that Morales has used this substance to take advantage of his opponent.

"I have received calls from the USADA because there was a positive, but it is a very small trail until today I am not guilty of anything, I did a second test, opened it and realized that the levels are minimal, as did a third test which determined I'm clean and it was just the type of food, "he said.

The Tijuana stated that at all times he was quiet on this issue because he did nothing outside the rules.

"I'm very quiet on the subject, at any time I have been concerned because I'm sure I have not used anything wrong, for all exams asked if I use something else and I said no. I have 19-year career and have never used anything to improve my performance. "

In this regard, the president of the WBC, Jose Sulaiman, admitted that the disputed world championship body was never at risk, adding that the WBC does not provide for a banned substance clenbuterol.

"Never fight was at risk, we will not yield to any pressure to be offside. The WBC rules clenbuterol is not included as a prohibited substance, because everyone in boxing fight to lose weight, we punish the use of stimulants or steroids, "he told RECORD.

Finally the boss Tamaulipas reported that the only valid considering drug test is carried out after the bout.

"The World Council does not accept any drug test as an officer except the boxer present during the fight. What we had yesterday is worthless, "he concluded.

Morales has never been a known cheat.. Boxing fans need to give him the benefit of the doubt especially since the traces in the test were so small and it is not steroids.

Very true. He's no steroid abuser like Berto and Beterson.

TBF here, Berto was about to get a title shot vs K9 and is now about to fight Guerrero for some BS title that will probably entitle him to a fight vs Mayweather if he wins. He didn't get the fight vs Ortiz (probably cause his B sample didn't come back negative) but he's still getting opportunities.
