My only question is...did he formally fire Phil Landen?

I think I saw him on the 24/7 for Cotto/Mayweather, but he had no role, glorified water bottle holder. It seems that Pedro takes 100% accountability for all things concerning Cotto's conditioning since he took over.

        Anyone else confirm this?

Those pics are pretty badass, just going out deep into the woods and training in an undisclosed area. I want to do that lol.

Cotto's stamina is pretty suspect so maybe it will help him a bit. I think he'll lose to Trout.

Great photos. I think Cotto represents everything good in boxing. He's had some great wars and shown a lot of heart; he's very technically very good; he always works hard and comes in on weight; he performed well, and better than most, against the best of his generation; he's humble and shows respect (except to Margarito) - he's a true champion.

I always look forward to a Cotto fight because, whether it's blood and guts or a boxing lesson, you know you're gonna get a good show.

Nothing but respect for Cotto, I know a lot of Mexicans dislike him, but you got to give it up for the guy he just goes about his business and is always in big fights. He really is the last of a dying breed.
