It wasn’t until he demolished the American Jeff Lacy – then regarded by many as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world........ uhhhhhh no. Maybe some American boxing writers were favoring Lacy to win that fight but no way in hell was he ever considered as the best p4p in the world.

As for Calzaghe becoming a trainer that's good news to hear. But I wonder if he can teach young up and coming boxers his style of fighting. To me Joe had a unique style that worked for him. People can hate and call it a slap style of fighting but the bottom line is it worked for him.

Getting bummed? Are the fighters from Calzaghe's gym going to be gay?

If so that's ok. Right now is a good time for them to come out of the closet.

            If you say so.

Anyway, good luck to Joe and his new batch of Calslappy All Stars.

They'll be sure to follow in the footsteps in beating Hopkins and the floppers that come from his gym

48 years old and still fighting damn

I'd be ashamed to come from a floppers gym that loses to "white boys"
