Nobody wants to fight him because they all respect him and they'd look like the bad guy in the fight. A guy like Vitali would probably end up carrying Evander till the finish and I doubt he wants to be in that position.

He can't really take other random tune-up fights because he prob thinks he's preserving his body for this mythical title shot that will come some day.

He wasn't only getting beaten, he looked to be on his way to getting stopped in that one if the fight kept going on. Williams was hammering him with the same damn punch over and over, and Holyfield was incapable of making it miss.

Give it up, Evander. Outside of Povet-puss snagging you as a name on his resume - a la Hasim Rahman - you have no chance of fighting for anything remotely relevant in boxing today.
