For the #1 P4P fighter on earth today Nonito Donaire to fight Rigo right now would be another slaughter.

Then the critics would pick on ND for whupping the boy so bad without a record that amounts to tomato cans.

Rigo ain't nothing... all he has is a title. Not like he's a flyweight or the IBF titlist out of South Africa

i dont understand the fascination with a unproven 11 win fighter that is physically dwarfed by donaire.

rigo has a ugly awkward style and if they ever fight it would look like the rich man's version of doanire vs nishioka....

with the same brutal result. tko win for donaire or a rout on the cards with rigo running the entire night.

Then why doesn't he make it happen then? He's been taken easy fights anyway & he did say he wanted to clean put the division. So, what was your point again?

-Donaire and his team say Rigondeaux isn't a hard fight and that Donaire will win, is better than Rigondeaux, he needs more exposure, etc.

                1. If Rigondeaux was an easy fight for him, they'd fight him to unify titles in a heart beat. Both are same promoter, Rigondeaux has wanted this fight for almost a year now. It'd be easy to make.

                2. Narvaez, Mathebula, and Nishioka are no more known than Rigondeaux is to the average casual fan waling down the street. All have about the same type of exposure. You could even argue that Rigondeaux appearing on Pac's undercards a couple times is probably more known than those 3, and you could market a Donaire-Rigondeaux fight for Marlins Stadium in Miami, and probably have a good turn out with other Cubans on the card as well. So it's not like Donaire-Rigo isn't a sellable fight.

                3. Donaire has aired any excuse to why Rigondeaux doesn't make sense for him. First it was Donaire is too boring of a fighter and he'll be another Narvaez fight. Than it was no one knows who Rigondeaux is compared to him. Than it was Rigondeaux needs more experience. Than it was he wanted to fight Rigondeaux but Rigondeaux priced himself out of the fight (yeahhhhh okay). Now it's Rigondeaux doesn't get Donaire excited enough. The reason those are all bulls**t is this.......Narvaez (unproven at 118, no fan base, not exciting in the ring). Vazquez Jr (never beaten a Top 10 fighter and coming off a TKO loss). Mathebula (no fan base, not an excting fighter, one win over a Top 10 fighter). Nishioka (no fan base, not an exciting fighter). He's basically disproving all the reasons Rigondeaux supposedly isn't a good fight for him by fighting those 4, in one way or more.

                4. It's not like Donaire is a Mayweather or Pacquiao, a Cotto-Canelo-Chavez, or even a Broner in terms of ratings right now. If Mayweather or Pacquiao said they didn't want to fight Erislandy Lara because he's not a draw at all, it's make sense. They are mega fighters and fight mega fights against Top fighters. Lara provides no money for a fight with them, so we'd understand them saying they don't want to fight Lara. But Donaire isn't a Mayweather, Pacquiao, or Cotto. He's a guy who needs the right opponent to even get 1 million viewers on HBO, and can't sell a lot of tickets either (there were 8,000 in that arena for Rios-Alvarado, and people know it's true). So he can't say he's this big draw and refuse to fight Rigondeaux based on that. It's just not true.
Well said Donaire reminds me of Juanma when he avoided Gamboa. Pretty much the fans that were there for that fight were for alvarado/rios plain and simple.

Lol at garcia saying donaire has more skills than PBF. This dumb**** is crazy donaire gets hit way to much.

Pbf is not in the top five mang

Pac didn't KO Bradley but stomped him anyway

                    JMM is more like 4th

                    Ward is under Sergio

                    Pac is 2nd
                    Sergio is 3rd
                    Ward or JMM is 4th

May Jr will be KO'd if he fought Pac or Sergio

Nonito Donaire will not lose another fight until he is old, he slaughters all in the ring with him from now on, you will see, LOL
