    Marquez Wants No Excuses

As rumors gather pace about a casual, even cavalier approach by Manny Pacquiao to the hard grind of training to peak fitness for the fight of his life, his impending opponent WBA and IBF Champion Juan Manuel Marquez says that any last minute injury excuse from an under prepared Manny wouldn’t cut much ice.

While reports suggest Manny has yet to link up in the United States, with his trainer Freddie Roach and get down to some serious supervised gym work, Juan already has more than a month of hard work under his belt. [details]

For once I agree with JMM, but it could have been mouthed by anybody else. There really should be no excuses from either side after the fight. No more of those "bad nights" pleeeease...!!

But I still go for Pacman, KO in the early rounds!

Hi I'm new here and I'm a Filipino fan of boxing. I must say that as much as I want Pacman to win over JMM, I can't see him winning this one.

Before any other Pacman fan react to this one, I want you to hear me out. First and foremost, Pacman isnt working hard enough. This has been a disease that has been attached to our boxers. When they become stars, they tend to take things lightly. Whereas our mexican brothers tend to work harder to maintain their hard earned status. I've always thought that Manny has changed during his last loss (I forgot with whom). But in this upcoming fight, it is apparent he hasn't learned his lesson. It is not only him that we can blame. He could have done his guestings or his commercials well after this fight. But due to his contracts with these companies, it will contribute to his demise. We cannot mainly rely on his power to defeat his enemy. There has to be a lot of conditioning and practice. I cannot say that Roach will be to blame when he loses, for he has time and again tried to coax MP to leave early to start on practice.

Its just like ****fighting. Your conditioning may not give you the win, but somehow, it gives you the advantage to have one. I hope Pacman proves me wrong.

Pac will have no excuses because he just signed up with
Darlington socks. He's got the best socks to beat JMM now.
