Paulie went into an undefeated champion's backyard in a foreign country and took his title off him by stoppage. No one does that anymore.

American fighters get the champion to come over here. If they can't, then they pass up the fight. GBP was trying to get a 147 strap for Canelo a while back, but an agreement couldn't be reached with Senchenko or Zavec because they only wanted to fight in LA. Think of all the recent champs we have that got their belt by getting a foreign champ to come here. Chavez jr, Alexander, Berto, Guerrero.

Paulie is a god damn throwback for taking the title the old fashioned way.
Is paulie good because he knocked this guy out or is this guy **** in the first place because he was able to be knocked out by paulie?

He won the belt as a vacant title fight against a guy who later lost to mathew hatton. That is pretty ****.

still, a part of his longevity has come in part due to superb handling. he got his hands on a "world title" at 147 the easy way. he's a local attraction. he's a great salesman.

he's had a very good career, all things considered. he's got an easy title defense coming up

      war malinaggi's management,

Lol I respect you man but lets be real, Paulie has had the toughest fights I've ever seen on a resume. Harry Greb-esque **** bro.

Paulie is good because he did something that all the "big name" fighters would never do; go to a champ's back yard abroad (as an underdog, no less) and challenge for that title. Not only did he beat the odds, he won by KO. Senchenko was being mentioned as a Pacquaio opponent until Paulie went over there and spanked his ass.

And yeah; Paulie got his strap by beating N'dou. He also cleanly dropped him, something Miguel Cotto, Saul Alvarez, and Kell Brook couldn't do.

          Haters gonna hate.
