I see this donaire move as reaping the fruit of his hard labor. He will be earning at least a million dollar so rigo can go die in envy. Donaire earned it. Meanwhile, rigo has to work harder in order to find the gold at the end of the rainbow.

You actually have a point there. However i'd like to see a change in boxing, where a good amateur record, gold medals etc. are counted in when they step in pro-rings. We would save lot of time by making the best fights happen, and not waiting a 32 year old guy to get that long "list" which takes years in pro-boxing especially if you are dangerous opponent and Guillermo is known to be dangerous opponent because of his amateur merits. It's just wrong, it shouldn't be like that.

He's been. beating prospects and tbh wasn't impressive in his last fight and raised more questions than he answered. Let him beat Agbeko or Vic and help build the fight and earn his shot.
