He would have put a roadblock on mannys move up.

He's fought 3 times in less than a year. Can't remember the last time he did that.

At least now finally he can get himself a paper strap at 140 and see what happens from there, at this point he should take the risk and fight the man in your avi HBO or Showtime would buy that and he has a good style to win the fight running away.

mathysse vs guzman would be a great fight, lucas has improved. Guzman challenged him but his management opted to fight judah. guzman beats him and i think mathysse knows it.

Yup, Matthysse is going to have a problem with a crafty boxer, Guzman is very awkward could use angles and counters to pile up points and frustrate Lucas.

He does have to be careful though of course because Lucas is a dangerous puncher, hard to discourage, and will be on top of him putting plenty of pressure that I would be interested in seeing how Guzman handles at his age.

look at the those ranks...that Division is really not all that good, just the few fighters at the top really

What is funny is that I think Guzman would UD or KO any of the type fighters in that Division, just unfortunate he had Weight Issues, that dude has Top 5 P4P Talent and should have been in the Top 10 for all these years but the Weight Issues got him Blackballed

I like Lucas in the fight but if guzman hasnt lost anything than its a tough fight for matthysse.
