Taylor was never a dominant Welter and that was Tito's best weight and never fought at anything lower. Based on how both competitively fought at Welter, Tito IMO takes him out.

You might be right. Meldrik had that chip in his shoulder, ****ing it out instead of boxing safely, which spells destruction against a welterweight trinidad.

Tito would win because Taylor would have success and get drawn into a fight, once he gets drawn into a fight as opposed to using his speed and skills to outbox Tito (which would be the correct way for Taylor to approach Tito) it is only a matter of time until Tito starts catching Taylor.

Getting into a shoot out with Tito is generally a losing proposition, only truly great guys might be able to beat Tito in that fashion and Taylor is clearly at least a cut below that.

pains me to say cause meldrick is my boy, but tito wins this, mainly based on what gambler said. taylor COULD beat tito, if he had the perfect strategy, but if I had to pick, tito all the way...
