I've been very vocal about my feeling on Evander continuing to get licensed.

If this is really the end, then I wish him all the best. HOF is calling.

I've always felt that the Klitschkos could both have fought a series of exhibitions with Holyfield. They would sell well, they could say they were in the ring with their hero, and he could make a much needed pile of money. Some of the old fighters have done something like this. Tyson did a world exhibition tour with T-Rex Sanders doing 4-rounders. just a few years ago.

The only thing is, that Holyfield, with his obsession, might have gone all out for a KO. I'm not sure about today's rule, but once upon a time when there were No Decision fights, and the only decisions were decided by Newspaper reporters attending the fights (NWS) a champion could only lose his title by KO. Benny Leonard, who had already split two NWS fights with Champ Freddie Welsh, became Lightweight Champion that way, by feigning that he was ill
and then KO-ing him.

Of course Holyfield's earninga would likely to be seized by his creditors

Its funny how quickly people forget or maybe they just never knew who this guy is and what hes achieved in the sport..

these ****in German fans watch fights just to watch them...they like the event of it they come out in numbers for Klitschko fights even when its pointless and they're fighting bums...Holyfield needs the ****ing money thats why he wants to fight them so bad...hell one of them might as well fight him and give the man some money b4 he retires and just not beat him up too bad and hopefully holyfield can hang on to some of that money this time...its really a shame

Evander is a great fighter but a ****** businessman like most blacks.
