If you're down with Pac/Rios you had better be down for Rios/Mayweather.

        Pac busts Rios up badly.

How do you see Mayweather vs. Rios turning out?

            Why is that?

Styles makes fights and that is why people knew ahead of time that last nights fight would be great until the final bell. People can see the same if Manny fought Rios. It would be an exciting fight for as long as it lasted.

Perhaps, if Floyd decides to stay in the pocket and fight, we may see the same type of excitement but I can see with Floyd much more holding, elbowing and whatever tactics to keep Rios away from him. So it would be less of a war, for sure.

Some may say it can end up being Floyd vs Castillo type fight but I doubt it at this point in time since we still need to see how Rios will look like at 147. At this point in time, I can see Floyd looking bigger and stronger at 147 so that would be all wrong for Rios and he would not be as effective.

For entertainment value, Manny vs Rios hands down but I'm in the same position in that I would want to see Rios fight at 147 before facing Manny.

Rios-Pacquiao is a ****ty fight because it will take place around the welter limit. Just a dumb idea and another fight where PPV #'s won't be released. Top Rank makes me sick sometimes.

You got to put things in perspective. If not Rios than who? And Floyd is inactive so we're talking available options right now.

                Malignaggi?
                Devon Alexander/Randall Bailey winner?
                Kell Brook?
                Bradley 2?
                Marquez 5?
                Cotto 2?
                Danny Garcia?
                Matthysse?
                Peterson?

Who am I missing from 140-147?

It's the one of the best options available to Pacquiao right now.

Floyd isn't a fighter than holds because he is capable of fighting in the pocket. If I look through his career I can only think of one fight that was some what of a clinchfest and that was initiated by Hatton.

That being said it wouldn't make for an interesting fight, it'd probably end up looking like Floyd v Baldomir or Floyd v Hatton.

Pacquiao v Rios is another fight that wouldn't be interesting unless you like to see people get hurt. It'd end up like Pacquiao v Rios only Rios wouldn't have the power to seriously trouble Pacquiao.

People acting like pac fighting this no name bum on Dec 8th. This is JMM, who is getting a rematch because a majority of fans believe he was robbed. He stopped the Pac hype train on its tracks and will do it again.

It is not a case of people thinking Pacquiao is fighting this no name bum it is a case of people knowing that if Bob Arum has a plan something as small as Marquez putting on a match winning performance is not going to stand in his way.

The scorecards of this fight is proof enough, full credit to Rios for scoring the TKO victory but having him up 4-2 by the time of the stoppage has agenda written all over it.
