Spanish speaking Dr and English speaking Mexican American

Thought it was hilarious when the doc was checking on Alvarado after the fight, doc was asking him questions in spanish and Alvarado had to tell him that he didn't understand Spanish!

You would think the doctor knows what the fighters understand. Does Rios speak/understand Spanish?
