If anything, they certainly have a more exciting horizon, and more support behind their HW scene.
The Brit boxing scene in general is in a very good place right now with the likes of Froch leading the way. Khan loss to Garcia was a setback, but I still think Khan dispatches him in a rematch, and is a lot more popular in USA than most American boxers.
I'd argue that the real HW scene rests From Germany, eastward, and upward to Russia, though. . .
I'm glad that boxing is no longer centralized in USA, and dominated by Americans - it's always been a global sport, but now more than ever it has the feel of a true international sport.
