Do you think Bute can beat Froch the second time around?

Can he improve, or change things up, in order to get a win? Will a rabid home crowd help?

Or is Froch always going to be a bad matchup for him no matter what?

Yes. With those changes he is very capable of beating Froch.

Nah, he stops him again. Maybe not as early, but he stops him agian.

Froch is just all wrong for him.

I think he can, Froch won't be as fired up and Bute will have that revenge attitude.

It all comes down to how each of them performs on that night and on the preparation

              1st fight was fixed.

That first fight was fixed. How do you schedule a 2 fight deal and have the favorite win the first? That would make the 2nd fight pointless. Now that Froch "won" the first fight it makes the 2nd fight interesting. Bute looked like he was sticking his chin out and daring Froch to knock him out.

                Are you serious??!!

Did you watch the first fight? If you really watched the first fight CLOSELY, you wouldn't have this poll.

Watch the rd before the actual stoppage. Bute at the end of the round looked like a lost boy who got bullied by another school kid and had his lunch taken away from him. He AIN'T gonna recover from that. Froch ate Bute's punch....had no effect whatsoever on him.

dodgerjess, that is one of the most rediculous posts I've seen on NSB, and that says alot. In todays boxing world an undefeated record gives you major earning power. No way in hell Bute gives up that earning power for a Froch rematch. As for the post, I saw nothing in the first fight that makes me believe Bute can handle the power and pressure Froch brings. To beat Froch, you need good hand speed, good defence, and sound boxing fundamentals. You know the things Ward has an abundance of and Bute has little

                    Just to play devil's advocate:

Keep in mind that Bute has now seen what Froch brings to the table. He'll have a better idea of what to expect.

Maybe he'll box more this time instead of trying to make Froch feel his power.
