Vyacheslav Gusev would make a good step-up for most fighters - a solid all-rounder with some pretty decent skills & handspeed.
But he has very little power & is a little stiff - Russell should just be able to overwhelm him once he starts getting serious.

Russell needs a guy who can actually back him off & force him to think if we are going to see him stretched, as I don't think Gusev is up to the job.

Not very familiar with Gusev. I was about to ask if he's actually a step up from the stiffs Russell's been fighting.

Gusev is a big drop in everything from Franco, I guess Russell needs to work on his confidence a little. I can't see it any other way, regardless of his supposed championship plans. He's not steamrolling, beating all comers on his way there. I'm not anti Russel, just anti talk of a championship while avoiding danger.

Oscar is a ****ing troll. First he says Canelo vs Joesito will be on CBS. (it wasn't) Then he says just the All Access will be CBS. (it wasn't) Then he says the Olympian show will be on CBS. (It won't)
