    The super featherweight champion of the World Boxing Organization (WBO), Puerto Rico's Roman "Rocky" Martinez, is very interested in a fight with Mexican superstar Jorge "El Travieso" Arce. But, Martinez's promoter Peter Rivera of Puerto Rico Best Boxing has confirmed that Martinez (26-1, 16 KO) does have a prior commitment to make his first defense against mandatory challenger Juan Carlos Burgos (30-1, 20KOs). Rivera says there have been discussions about a fight with Arce (61-6, 46 KO) and the Mexican veteran has emerged as a real option for a fight in the near future.

      it's more of a fair fight against burgos,arce is crazy thinking he'll compete at 130,the guy is a small jr featherweight

              Martinez would beat Burgos even stop him arce brings more money to the table and a slot to another huge card more exposure for rocky who deserves it

                          I agree that arce wont win at 130 hes to small and old, Rocky Martinez can fight and would just be to strong and has youth on his side.

                                  Realistically Arce bailed out of his last fight when he realized he was gonna be in a barn burner. He has been a warrior throughout his career, his last true stand was the WV2 win, a fight he was also losing.

                                  If he faces Rocky, this could very well be the last fight of his career. Rocky doesn't have many skills, what he does bring to the table is the desire of redemption from his first loss, youth, a proven chin and serious power.

                                  RIP Travieso. .. You provided me with many entertaining scraps.

                                      That would be some BS from Rocky. I mean Arce come on son!!

                                      Arce needs to get his qutting ass into a rematch with Rojas!!

                                      Rocky needs to aim Burgos and then either unify with Salgado or get his ass to 135
