I like Taylor but he's got no business at elite level. If it makes him feel better KOing a few journeymen then go ahead, but put him in with any elite MW, Golovkin, Martinez etc and they will put him to sleep and no-one want to see that. Retire, enjoy the money you earned and be happy.
Build yourself back up one brick at a time champ. I really believe under the right circumstances Jermain has a few surprises left for all of us. Good luck, in your quest.

Possibly, but more often or not, the guys who end up in really bad shape are the guys who can take loads of punishment. That constant punishment takes an eventual toll.
Taylor never suffered prolonged beatings. His losses were all quick "lights out" kinda deals. It still is not good, but every fighter has a different threshold. Some fighters never seem to have taken a knockout or a bad beating, but leave the sport punchy. It is a lottery.
