I think for Barrera a fight with Jesus Chavez or Jorge Barrior would be great, but Barrior is a better matchup in my opinion.

Barriors fought Freitas in a classic bout two or three years ago.

WBC super featherweight champion Marco Antonio Barrera is scheduled to fight on March 25. But he hasn't yet decided who will be in the other corner. Currently in the running are IBF lightweight champion Jesus Chavez, WBO champion jr lightweight champion Jorge Barrios and WBA super featherweight king Vicente Mosquera. "The Baby-Faced Assassin" says he will make his final decision after the holidays.

He'll choose Barrios, which is fine, but everybody knows Chavez stands a much better chance of beating Barrera.

barrera is in a good position, he has a great selection of fights out there for him, i just hope he fights chavez though at lightweight and tries to become the only mexican to win 4 titles in 4 different weight classes. history is there for him, chavez is a much bigger risk and threat than all the other opponents listed............ BUT the reward is far greater for marco antonio barrera if he fights chavez at 135lbs.

Barrios seems to be on his way down. I'd like to see Barrera fight Chavez, but isnt Chavez a bit bigger than MAB? Marco may be biting off more than he can chew.

Whichever guy he choses (either is fine with me), the fight will be on HBO World Championship Boxing on March 25th, not HBO PPV.
