You're right, I stand corrected, I never seen Alvarado rep Mexico. My point is everytime there's a thread with Dulorme's name there's always a Mexican trolling it, pointing out race like it matters. As for heritage, that's determined where you grew up and that's Puerto Rico. He's been living there since he's 9.

actually your heritage is where you family comes from. You just said how Rios reps Mexico but he wasn't born there. Your heritage is where your family is from. That is how Rios can be Mexican American or Oscar De La Hoya or Fernando Vargas. They were all born in the US and grew up here but can claim to be Mexican American. That is how there are Americans of Chinese, Japanese heritage etc. You know better than that. You're right, I stand corrected, I never seen Alvarado rep Mexico. Dulorme wasn't born in PR but came there as a what 3rd or 4th grader? He is Dominican but is proud of living in US. Just like any immigrant who comes to the US. He can rep his new country but his heritage is where he is from. He should embrace both and I think he does.Comment
