friday, adonis stevenson is fighting a chicago kid by the name of don george (he lost a ud to edwin rodriguez on the martinez/macklin undercard on hbo), it'd be great to see him pull off the upset with an early ko or something.

saturday, i think rios might edge alvarado. the type of fight everyone is expecting is rios's forte. i haven't been sold on alvarado cause i haven't followed him for too long but i've seen most of his recent fights, and we all saw rios get exposed by abril, so i'm not too big on rooting for either fighter, i'm just hoping for a great war like many have been anticipating. as for donaire/nishioka, i think donaire will win a decision. nishioka is a good crafty fighter, and i think donaire will know better than to try and go all out against him looking for a KO. both great fights, hopefully both live up to our expectations.

      Rios/Alvarado = it's a pick em

Donaire/Nishioka = Donaire will put Nishioka to sleep.

you're saying two different things. you "hope the other happens", meaning you want stevenson to win? but then at the end you say "i'm pulling for d. george" so you're rooting for him? haha. either way, i respect anyone's opinions on the fight. hopefully it's an entertaining one if anything.

I'm also taking Nishioka over Donaire. Both men are great boxers and my guess is that it will go 12 with Nishi taking a close decision. I got to see Nishioka fight twice in Yokohama versus Garcia, and a boxer from Thailand whose name I cant fully recall; Nachoksimpok or something like that. He's pretty slick and even though he is aged, I think he can pull it off against Donaire.
I pretty much agree with this.

Donaire and Alvarado by decision. But I wouldn't be suprised if Rios-Alvarado ends either way by ko.
