Nothing against Thompson but why is he fighting bums after beating Linares and having a "belt"? His last fight was an 8 rounder despite him having a "belt". My guess is they are padding this dude's record to then feed him to one of the top guys up there.

Thompson has it easy, but Kameda is truely getting spoon fed. Didn't this Franco get KO'd a couple of weeks ago? Let's hope Massa gets a good fight, but he'll probably get a soft touch also. I understand that it is expensive to get talent to go to Quintana Roo, so we know who's going to win. This is a weak card, so far.

he beat linares in a lightweight eliminator. he went down to 130 after to fight for a fake belt. his last fight was held at lightweight, so i guess that's why they changed it to an 8 rounder instead of a 12 rounder in defending that fake belt. either way, the fight didn't go the full 8 so...i don't get it either though, he beat a solid LW, why wouldn't he want to stay there? i guess he's more comfortable at super featherweight.
