A few days ago, BoxingScene.com reported that heavyweight contender Odlanier Solis (18-1, 12 KOs) decided to take a pass on facing Norway�s Leif Larsen (16-0, 13 KOs) in a 10-round fight on October 12 in Madrid - and instead the 2004 Olympic gold medal winner will head straight to a planned fight with former two-division world champion Tomasz Adamek (47-2, 29 KOs) on December 22.

obviously wanted to see solis fight him but gavern is a good replacement...
