I think i'll be starting competitive boxing soon, but i'm also wondering where boxing might get me as i'll be applying for college in about two years. will a good record in competitions get me any scholarships or competitive edges in applying to a college? thanks to anyone who can post anything, i'm really excited to get into boxing.

A scholarship specifically for your boxing is unlikely. I think USA Boxing might do a few scholarships, but overall all that stopped when colleges stopped having their own boxing teams.
However, being involved in a sport/extracurricular activity like boxing and doing well in it will increase your standing of getting into a college as well as potential scholarships from the college based on the 'entire package' (your grades, ACT/SAT, app letter, and sports).
As long as your grades don't suffer from you hanging in the gym all day boxing can only help you. Good luck!
