It also wasn't a big risk fighting Garcia. He wasn't a big puncher and seemed a sure win. Some people act like Khan was fighting Matthysse and Pacquiao.

Putting him in against Danny Garcia was supposed to be protecting him. Danny just didn't get the memo.

Had Golden Boy really wanted to put Khan in a risky fight they would have had him fight Matthysse.

I think the only dangerous fight Khan took was Maidana, although he didn't look that great coming off a UD against Corley. Both Peterson and Garcia were supposed to be easy fights for Khan so it's not like Golden Boy though they were putting him in much risk.
