Fuentes did his job & did it well..I always said Calderón should have retired after the 2nd Segura fight..Before the fight started I had the feeling it was gonna be a matter of time till Fuentes started landing his shots & Calderón was gonna fold like a taco!! & that's exactly what happened with the exception that it took a little longer than what I thought..& the announcers kept on talking about Calderón's 18 successful title defenses & he did retain the title 18 times, but he didn't win all 18 of those title defenses cause 1 of those was a technical draw against Mayol..Don't get Me wrong, that is a major accomplishment, but to try to put him over Tito Trinidad & Gomez(2 of Puerto Rico's best champions) is ridiculous cause even thou Calderón was a great technician & at one point dominated sweet science of hit & don't get hit(or a least get hit the least possible) but no way he had the heart & warrior mentality Gomez & Trinidad had & Trinidad & Gomez faced the cream of the crop & that's something Calderón never did..
