Agreed. The kid hasn't done enough to get that kind of big break. I'd like to see EX retire after a win though. I give him props for fighting Dawson when he could have just retired but he's not that of fighter. He went 12 w a young lion and took minimal punishment. A younger EX would have wiped the floor w Dawson. Anyway, at this point he has nothing left to prove but I wouldn't be surprised if he went out w/ one more classic upset.

The only fight I'd like to see him in is against Edwin Rodriguez. That is another hype train prime for the derailing.Solid BAD main event for January. Hopkins can show he still has it by taking out a young contender and it can be his farewell fight.

I enjoyed Hopkins' last fight with Pascal, but neither of the fights with Chad. I believe he can still beat the majority of light heavies out there TBH. If he wants to go a couple more times, it would not really bother me any.

Hopkins one of my fav boxers ever but he should retire, he has no brain problem still in shape leave when u healthy. Plus the only fighters he can beat are slow ones his weakness will always be a guy with hand speed he can't deal with it.
