Sheffield - Former world featherweight champion Naseem Hamed appeared in court on Monday on a charge of dangerous driving.
The 31-year-old former IBF and WBO champ's mercedes slr car was involved in a collision with two other vehicles on May 2 that left one man with a broken leg and two broken arms.
Hamed appeared for a five-minute hearing at Sheffield Magistrates Court. He spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth.
No plea was entered, and the case was adjourned to January 20.
The flamboyant Hamed, once one of Britain's most celebrated sporting figures, hasn't fought in more than three years.
