Hopkins wins were huge upsets at the time. Ward's wins were expected. I was at BHop Tito. The Garden went silent. Nothing ward has ever done comes close.

Agreed. I think both of Hopkins' performances are quite a bit better. The Tito one for his dominance in every aspect followed with one of the most perfectly set up traps I've seen in modern boxing for the KO. It was a thing of true boxing beauty.

The Pavlik one was also amazing because he'd just come off the Calzone loss and everyone thought he was going to be knocked out for the first time ever and get beaten up. Instead he put on an epic clinic and looked 30 again. It was beautiful. Ward hasn't reached that level yet.

We have to remember that both Tito and Pavlik were undefeated and significant favourites. Dawson and Froch had both lost not long before and both were underdogs.

Ward vs Dawson was a very very close second based of the level of competition

Hopkins-Trinidad is one of the most impressive fights of all time given the stakes and the fact that Tito was an undefeated mother-****ing one-man wrecking crew. That is a fight everybody should be shown once in their lives.

Some would say Tito was to small for B-Hop but they also forget that B-Hop weight in at 157 and Tito 159!!!
