im down with the bet d....and im not in denial i know he lost...a decision...martinez was getting tagged as the fight came to an end and u can clearly see him dazed trying to climb the corner...i give him props for surviving that beat down in the 12th and he deserved the nod...jus the fact that people dont give chavez no credit for being so close to taking out maravilla with all these insults drives me nuts but thats the fans we have now....

For anyone to say anything remotely about Jr having Martinez down in the 12th and associating that with him almost beating martinez is plain ******, chavez jr fans are ****** and blindly loyal - tell me if this adds up to a champion :
dui 1 week before a title defense
2 failed drug tests (diuretic and some other shyt)
1 failed drug test for canabbis
horrible training dedication
skips out of drug test in TX
gets his urine samples destroyed in TX
doesn't listen to his HOF father
doesn't listen to his HOF trainer
sulaimon is his godfather (and is now beginning to realize the monster he has created)
- you guys really thought a lucky punch was going to negate the as$ whooping he was recieveing for 11 1/2 rounds ? Martinez got up, and stood his ground, no running. JR was just so past it (from all of the above) that he could not take advantage of the situation, now if it was a back and forth battle through out the fight then he might of been able to finish him, but with canabbis lungs and no training discipline - it was not going to happen, hell if he would have won, he would have been stripped anyways - so take a warm can of Tecate, shake it up and sit on it.........Comment

a lucky punch? whos the ****** one here...and u try chasing someone over 11 rounds while getting tagged and try to finish a top tier fighter def almost impossible...but almost happened...lol...i dont name call or be internet warrior crap but come on that was a beautiful combo that put maravilla on his a**....that 12th round was awesome.....he did as much if not even more damage in one round that maravilla was able to do to chavez in 11 full rounds....rematch def will be a success....Comment

Lol, I agree.
Yep, just another shining example of the good guys coming in last. Sergio is the unified champ now, but who could he make a big payday against, at MW?
They can throw Chavez in there with just about anybody, and he fights damn near 3 times a year, so I wouldn't rule out those biased commentators and media trying to build up a rematch. Smh
Poor Sergio, he better get back in there soon and start knocking some heads off again. They'll forgive and build up Chavez, quicker than ever...not sure if Sergio will have that same opportunity this time around.Comment

Obviously Junior has made a lot of mistakes. However, one thing that you did not mention is the fact that regardless of what or how many mistakes he has made he still isn't a very good fighter. For anyone to say anything remotely about Jr having Martinez down in the 12th and associating that with him almost beating martinez is plain ******, chavez jr fans are ****** and blindly loyal - tell me if this adds up to a champion :

seriously another excuse? maybe next it will be revealed that Chavez drank a 12 pack of tecate before the fight and that's why he lost.
no matter what Chavez does he'll have a hard time beating Martinez. in round 6 Chavez opened up and attacked and got totally busted up. Chavez would be done in 4 rounds IMO.
then what's the excuse? he's a crackhead
seriously he lost get over itComment

I can totally see where you are coming from here ^^^. I enjoyed the hell out of the fight, and am glad the KD happened because Martinez would not have been given ANY credit had it not occurred. The only I am not high on Chavez Jr. (no pun intended) is because he is so damn arrogant and just wreaks of self-expecting entitlement.im down with the bet d....and im not in denial i know he lost...a decision...martinez was getting tagged as the fight came to an end and u can clearly see him dazed trying to climb the corner...i give him props for surviving that beat down in the 12th and he deserved the nod...jus the fact that people dont give chavez no credit for being so close to taking out maravilla with all these insults drives me nuts but thats the fans we have now....
I am adding our bet to my sig to make it official. May the best man win.
Don't agree with the bold. Martinez ****ed Chavez UP with the sustained 11 round beating. Jr. definitely hurt Serg with the KD, but post fight, Jr. looks like he got his face stuck in a wood chipper.a lucky punch? whos the ****** one here...and u try chasing someone over 11 rounds while getting tagged and try to finish a top tier fighter def almost impossible...but almost happened...lol...i dont name call or be internet warrior crap but come on that was a beautiful combo that put maravilla on his a**....that 12th round was awesome.....he did as much if not even more damage in one round that maravilla was able to do to chavez in 11 full rounds....rematch def will be a success....
