I will have to admit that I did not watch the fight and I have always enjoyed watching Darchiyan. I also no nothing about De Valle. However, how does this fight save Vic's career? From what I was reading I would have thought that his opponent was a top five fighter. When in reality De Valle's best opponent before this fight isn't even ranked in the top fifty and he only had 16 fights. All this fight tells me is that Vic still has enough to beat a novice fighter while still losing to the elite ones. Or I am missing something?
