What has he done to be considered the man at lightweight? Yes Vasquez does have good names on his resume but they are all losses. Granted he may not be the best promoted fighter in the division and I do believe that he is being avoided by some, but it takes more than W's against Prescott, Kim and Lenny Zappa to be the man in a stacked division. DeMarco has wins against Linares and Molina by KO. Burns has wins over Katsidis, Moses and Mitchell. Abril has a win over Acosta and dubious losses to Rios and Lundy but a loss is a loss! For me it goes like this. #1 DeMarco. #2 Burns. #3 Vasquez. #4 Abril. Broner shouldn't be rated at all until he fights although I think he probably beats all of the fighters above. I would love to see a super 6 style tournament with these 5 fighters and either Linares, Roman Martinez, Lundy, Gesta or Beltran added for good measure.

Lol... Im wondering why they putting these guys all the way over there. Why not AC? Hell the gym of my old high school would be better than Verona.Originally posted by hougigoDamn, it's at Verona? Too bad I'm never ever going there again

Titere Vazques is the onlyone that can give Broner his first lose, he has the experience, the speed (not as much as Broner) but acurate speed, and the craftyness to overcome broners adventage on speed, in addition to all that "Titere" is what...5'10"?
There is a good reason why Marquez, Rios, "The Gosht" and all the other light whigts avoided this guy....somebody said here what his resume....how can you have a resume when no one wants to take the challenge? and that goes to Broner too, I bet anyone anything, that GBP is gonna keep Broner as far away from this kid as posible.Comment

if this is the same marvin quintero i think it is (showbox kid. jr lw / lw with fast hands,) he has a sh#t chin.
vasquez isn't really a life taker, but i think there's a gap in class between the two, and i can see quintero being stopped.
that said, quintero is a good offensive fighter, and is usually in fun fights.Comment
