Oscar De La Hoya versus Ray Leonard at 147

A prime Sugar Ray Leonard beats a prime De La Hoya. The outcome would depend on what style Ray chose to fight him with. If he danced and used the ring, he would humiliate him with his footwork and hand speed. It wouldn't be close. If he chose to fight him flat footed like in the 2nd half of the Hearns fight, then it would be much closer. But in that situation, Oscar gets KO'd. Ray was just too fast, too talented, too smart for Oscar.Comment

Leonard by u.d.. Leonard was faster and he had two very good hands for very fast combinations. Oscar had a great left jab and left hook but an average right hand. That is common for left handed fighters that fight from a right handed stance.Comment
