People still kind of want May-Pac, and locking up a date...before you even get close to your upcoming fight, really makes that look even less possible then it was. That's a hard thing to do lol.
I can't understand how people are too fucking ****** or stubborn to realize this.

This quote damn near needs its own thread. It will get lost or people will ignore it and play dumb.

It took a while for Marquez to be named as the next opponent, though. Happy to hear that both guys aren't interested in fighting for a 5th time. April will probably be a Bradley rematch, assuming he wins his next fight.

may 5th at the MGM arguably makes the most business sense for obvious reasons. meanwhile, bob and pac want to fight on obscure dates in a fantasy stadium somewhere on a far off neverland where mysterious pixy investors await them. mayweather locking the date is somehow offensive even though they had no problem before fighting marquez, hatton, mosley on cinco de mayo weekend at the MGM. they've done the same **** before and are doing the same **** now. you have to be thick not to see how these snakes operate.

As usual, there are are people who read too much into something that means nothing
That's right. If Floyd wants to fight Pacquiao in May he could always say so. Pacquiao said he would give Mayweather 55% and Floyd's advisor basically told Pacquiao to shove it. Does Pacquiao have to beg Floyd for a fight? Floyd has said nothing about fighting anyone so he might not be fighting on May 5th. Blame it on who ever you like but a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight seems very unlikely. Pacquiao still likes to fight and lots of people like to watch him fight even if it's not with Floyd.

Yup. Already has the next opponent picked out (Not Mayweather) and will spend the whole time promoting the fight by talking about wanting to fight Mayweather. Same old **** from both sides. Very tired of it now.

May is not an option on Pacquiao, he is running again as a congressman and the elections is in second week of May. I will not be surprise if flomos and floyd itself will insist a May date to duck this fight. Floyd vs Pac dont need Cinco de Mayo or any special holiday, the fight itself is a not only the biggest weekend of boxing but the biggest fight of the decade or might be the biggest fight in the century!

It doesn't need Cinco, but it can wait if it's not on then. A canelo fight makes just about as much money on may 4th than pac on april 20th. F
