Bashing Hatton and have a quote bashing Calzaghe in your sig.

What is it about Hatton that's bringing all the nationalistic pricks out today?

Ricky Hatton was never average, he was a champion. Sure, his crash dieting contributed to less than flattering form on a few occasions but he did better than most against Floyd.

ricky was a champion and earned the right to call himself a champion by beating the top 10 in his weight division. he never ducked a fight and could oly be bested by two ATG fighters.

if the ricky who faced tszyu turned up against cotto (the 140lb verson) or khan he would have KO'd them both.

the flaws were obvious in rickys make-up but that doesn't make him an average fighter.

hopefully he'll live the life of a boxer between fights and i think that will help him. someone should remind him that a training camp is exactly that - a TRAINING CAMP!!! its not a fat loss camp.

Hatton is done, he should stick to the coke and fat hookers. He was never a good fighter, just got away with excessive hugging which he should have been disqualified for in several fights, especially the Tszyu fight where he would have been DQ'd if the fight was anywhere else but Manchester. He also ducked Witter and by doing so he set himself up for paydays with Pacquiao and Mayweather (because Witter would have beaten him). With drunk football supporters for fans, Hatton bought nothing to boxing except an annoying crowd chant. Every fight you wanted the crowd to stop singing that garbage

If Ricky brings absolutely nothing new to his game, he won't go very far.

I love it!!!! I cant wait for Ricky to come out guns blazing in his comeback bringing full speed excitement into the ring.. the man is a warrior, and he is in the position to prove all of you haters wrong and potentially go after another world title! Say what you want about Ricky but when its time to show up and train the man is relentless and his work ethic has never once been in question..

This man did great things generating interest in the sport of boxing for that alone he deserves his credit, stop bashing the Hitman and understand that he is one of a kind with a pressure style that has broken down some of the best in the game.. Hatton will be looking to prove himself and put on a show do not count this man out.

The man wants a shot at redemption so I can understand his motives for wanting to make a comeback but this could end in his total ruin.

The welterweight division is no place for a man coming off the back of a three year drink & drugs binge. He looks drained and weak in that picture.

His punch resistance had diminished when he fought Collazo, who had him out on his feet. His only other fight at Welterweight ended in a knockout.

Rick looks in good nick, but like a few others have mentioned he does look a bit gaunt, but then he was always a real whitey.

Cant belive how some people are saying he was average and if he brings nothing more he wont go anywhere....

If he is exactly the same Ricky he still probably takes a World Title, and then gets smashed up....I cant see the story changing, unless he actually retires a World champ this time.
