I couldn't agree more. Cotto has one of the best resumes in recent boxing, has only ever lost to p4p greats and is a multi-divisional world champion with the heart of a lion. The saddest part about Cotto's career will be the fact that he doesn't have that signature victory which defines all ATGs. He may not even be labelled as an ATG, his losses to Floyd and Pac, both by considerable margins, although he put on a show vs Floyd, are still losses. He needs to beat a prime, future great but looking around the scene, who can he possibly beat? Martinez, no. Canelo is just a name, a Pac rematch is useless, Berto, Ortiz, Khan have to rebuild. There is Bradley but he will not go up to 154. Cotto is stuck as being one of the top fighters of our generation but not quite an ATG.

The guy has only legitimately lost one fight. I don't count any loss anyone suffers to Pacroids or Margacheato.

All that is good but more importantly is what we dont get from him.

Accusations of drug and PED use, Weight manipulating, outrageous financial demands.

PAC beat Margarito = Margarito was shot to **** and not a good win.

Cotto beat Margarito = very good win and Cotto is rejuvenated.

Cotto: PAC need to stop draining me by asking for a fight at 150, I will only fight him at 154.

Cotto: I really wanted Margarito at 150, but they wouldn't budge. 150 was my goal though.
