Would love to see this fight. Provodnikov is a solid contender if any and his come forward pressure style would make Bradley have to box a smart balanced fight. Provo hasn't faced anyone near Bradley's caliber but he's been vying for a big opportunity for months (he was considered as JMM opponent until the pac fight was made) and I admire his ambition and determination.

You need to reward guys like Provo with bigger and more lucrative fights. He's an exciting young fighter who deserves a shot at the big time on HBO or SHO; he's paid his dues fighting on ESPN and sparring with Manny Pacquaio..

i agree that he's an exciting fighter and while he may deserve a chance, i just think he should fight a top 10 guy on an HBO BAD sort of card. especially if this fight is going down at 147. i don't really give him any chance against bradley.

i guess it kind of sounded insulting the way i said 'espn where he belongs', i just think hbo/show championship boxing or ppv should be reserved for the best fighting the best

Point taken; maybe Provodnikov needs to beats a top tier opponent on BAD or Showbox before headlining a major HBO card against a marquee fighter like Bradley. But if Bradley can't secure a top opponent like Guerrero than I don't see a problem with giving him an opportunity. I'm fan of Provos as well so I am a little biased.

i think a rematch with herrera might be a good undercard fight and if he won that, i'd have no problem seeing him in with the top guys.

i suppose there have been worse fights on hbo than bradley-provo (berto-rodriguez comes to mind). i guess it wouldn't be bad as a last resort type of fight if bradley can't get a marquee opponent. it would probably be an entertaining but one-sided scrap

Who the hell is Ruslan Provodnikov?? And why the hell does his name sound like a medicine?? His nickname should be the antibiotic. That way it would read Ruslan "the antibiotic" Provodnikov and us Americans can be really confused....

I agree with this... Fighting Bradley is a huge jump for Provo...Props to him tho willing and wanting the fight...Guerrero and Berto seem to be taking the "Easy Road" A la Pac...Bradley again is looking like the most avoided fighter in boxing...

If Bradley is gonna fight a 140 pounder then it should be lucas matthysee and no one else.
