I think chavez would beat cotto. Chavez would be 180 pounds to cotto's 160. Thats too much to over come. martinez was only like 10 pounds smaller than chavez and has better legs, better hand speed and better power than cotto, which made it an easy night for him.

Anyone giving chavez a chance in that fight were basing off of him being super huge but not noticing that hes only gonna be 10 pounds more than martinez on fight night which is no biggie. Martinez is a legit middleweight no matter what he wants you to believe.
