Broner is part Japanese which makes his racist comments even more out of place being of mixed ethnicities. He could have been more likable if not for shooting himself in the foot with his comments.

This is really a toss up fight imo. someone is going to be surprised by the others power. Demarco looks skinny but he hits a lot harder than meets the eye and can take a punch, and sure Broner had power at 130 fighting midgets but will he be able to carry it up to 135? I think Broner must use his speed and back demarco down like valero did but If he fights Demarco like he did ponce broner's getting ktfo

I just feel that Broner is a more polished fighter since being 21 in his first major step up against Ponce De Leon, and he still arguably won that fight. It was close, could have gone either way. Ponce landed more punches, Broner the harder ones in my opinion.

I think Broner will beat DeMarco, though he better not take him lightly. DeMarco is coming off very good wins over Linares and Molina, and is the #1 ranked LW in the world. Time for Broner to show he's the real deal.

A win over Broner would be huge for DeMarco's career. Will he get it? I highly doubt it.

Demarco has a decent shot. This is a big jump up in comp and also his first legit fight at 135.

Broner will finder harder to bully a guy closer to his own size

I really wish Guerrero/Broner would have got made. Rather see that one.

Good post. I thought Ponce definitely won the fight though.

Should be a great fight. Pulling for DeMarco, been a fan of the kid since I first saw him but Broner is very talented. I think DeMarco tries to make it a brawl, I don't think he's gonna outbox Broner.

I expect Broner to fight a very defensive fight after he realizes Demarco has the chin and the heart to take him into the late rounds. Demarco has been in with the stiffer competition so it really is a showcase to see how good Broner really is at this point. Will believe the fight is on once i dee the weigh in results though.

DeMarco needs to make this an ugly fight. If you go back to the Ponce and Quintero, Broner struggled vs 2 fighters with a very ugly/awkward style. I say make the fight ugly and if you cant KO don't make any mistakes. Broner is not a 12 round fighter and I don't think he's tougher than DeMarco.
