The funeral of slain former world heavyweight boxing champion Corrie Sanders is to be held in Pretoria at the NG church in Amandasig, north of the city today.

R.I.P sanders! what a shame for a good guy like him to get shot. he had some of the fastest hands ever in the HW division. 2 of the most memorable fights of the 2000s. his huge upset win vs wladimir but his 7 round slugfest vs rahman was by far the best heavyweight fight of this century so far. i'll always remember those 2 fights & for the fact 10 other fighters turned down the biggest payday of their careers to fight wladimir & sanders was the 11th choice & he got it done. his WBO title reign was not a world title reign either. the WBO was not recognized as more then a regional belt in 2003. he vacated it to get his vacant WBC title shot vs vitali klitschko.

Seems like S. Africa has always been f'd up. Not sure that it's getting worse, as opposed to just staying the same.

Who knows, but it's possible maybe that it was a bad translation. Of course, S. Africa is a country with strong English, but there is the possibility that the original comments were in Afrikaans and the translation wasn't so good.
