So being that he's only lost to one man while having a decent enough resume, does JuanMa have what it takes to get back to the top?
Juan ma should be required to fight salido every month so he can get knocked out 12 times a year.

i'm interested to see where he goes from here since he's never in a bad fight and he has the power to hurt anyone at any given time. i agree with those who said he should get a new team/trainer to improve his defense. whether it's too late to correct his mistakes, i'm not sure. there's a question mark on how much he has left physically as well. he seems to have been on the downslide since the mtagwa fight. he has a lot of heart so i think he might be able to give us a few more good fights if matched properly.

still kinda pissed we never got to see him get down with gamboa and it's a pointless fight now. but i don't think it's too late for him to mix it up with caballero (who also appears to have seen better days). he should try and get that fight after everything caballero said about him

I knew he wouldn't be the torch bearer after blatantly ducking Caba...not sure I can forgive him as a fan for that. The Salido bout was his comeuppance for that disgraceful display of ducking. I have no interest in seeing him fight ever again. Rather watch a true hall of famer PR fighter like Calderon and even prospects like Del Valle try to regroup than this guy.

All depends on who is the referee. If it is from the Ramirez family, is not worth watching him.

It is always good watching him fight. He has had tons of good ones and that should continue. If he is still championship caliber is another question. He has been on a fairly steady decline the past 3 years.

It happens sometimes. He is simply not as sharp offensively as he once was. At one time he had very good timing and could find openings. Now he does not have that edge.

What is crazy is that I still think JuanMa can OUT-BOX Salido...but his lack of defense and head movement and a serious lack of reflexes makes him a easy target to get to

For some reason just just couldn't avoid Salido Power Punches and Salido is not even that fast but yet he caught JuanMa with the same punches OVER AND OVER

to answer the question...YES he can be but that Defense needs some serious work, just because a fighter has your number does not mean your career is done, been a lot of legend who other good fighters just had their number and their styles just clashed in the favor of that opponent

This is one thing I HATE about this current ERA of boxing and especially the Current Fans...they are ready to give up on a guy after a loss, fans what fighters to be loyal and give them the match they want...but the fans are not ***in Loyal AT ALL!

Years ago people wrote off a man who lost twice to this guy.

i would say he made up for it.

Very true Mark. Sometimes you can just run into another fighter who has your number.

Power punchers with leaky defense are always fun to watch win, lose or draw

I would rather be at some casino playing a slot machine then watch him fight.
