The truth is that Rigondeaux was down by a jab ala Casamayor-Guerrero, he wasn't hurt, he got caught once against Marroquin, a young powerful in his prime fighter with KO power in both hands no shame in that, the other time he was off balance, so I'll say that you are a little off when saying ***** street and Rigondeaux, Vic is the type of fighter that Rigondeaux feed on, straight forward with no defense and throwing uppercuts from left field, step back make him miss and tattoo his face or the body with the left, I foresee a lot of pain for VD if that fight is made.

Good post. I've gotten a little flack recently for calling Rigo's chin questionable (and it is), but that's not the same as saying Guille was ever on "***** street". While "El Chacal" has been caught a few times, he's never been in trouble. I hope and expect Rigo's punch-resistance to improve as he gains further pro experience.

Sounds like aa good fight to me. Good step up for Rigondeaux. I'm not sold on the dude yet, I need to see him against a proven fighter. Right now, for me, he gets mopped by Donaire. I'd like to see what he does against Darchiniyan.

Not to be bias or anything because I actually like Vic, people call him dirt but I call him CRAFTY AND CLEVER and he will take advantage of what ever it is you allow him to get away with

BUT...Rigondeaux would pick Vic apart worse then Moreno did, but Rigondeaux would STOP HIM!

I do wonder how Rigo would feel being hit by Vic. There are reason's why in boxing fighters fight 20+ and go up in competition, it helps judge everything on the whole, but how they react to faster, stronger, durable guys who may hit very hard.

Rigondeaux won't even beat Vasquez jr. all of Rigo's opponents are just prospects, meaning they haven't proved anything.
